Jesus my grace

Grace is defined as unmerited favor or undeserved favor. It can also be defined as the kindness of God towards us.

According to Ephesians 2:8-9 , grace is not of ourselves but a gift of God. Grace is not egocentric or self aggrandizement. It is wrong for certain pastors to think that they should have a bigger church size because of certain spiritual gifts they possess.

John 1:17 For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

Jesus was able to fulfil the law unlike Moses, Abraham or David. He was able to complete(fulfil) what no man could do (Matthew 5:17). Obedience is to the law as faith is to grace.

When Jesus said it is finished, He finished what no man has accomplished and that qualifies you

1.To be righteous

2.To be justified

3. To be accepted and approved

4.To be loved

The grace exchange on the cross qualifies you if you can believe or trust in Him.

I qualify to be a son of Abraham by grace and you qualify for all the promises in the bible by grace.

What do you have that wasn’t given to you by God.

The above doesn’t presume antinomianism-against the law. Sanctification through prayer and fasting for example should be done not to please or exalt self but in faith,  resting and relying on the accomplished work of Jesus.

The grace exchange put a seed of the covenant inside the believer.

Look for biblical characters and identify the grace of God in their lives.

The grace of God in your finance might be at a different level to God’s grace in your health. Pray for manifestation of God’s grace in any area you fall short.
