A sacrifice, acceptable by the Lord is powerful and can lead to an open heaven. An acceptable sacrifice provokes heaven and is a sweet smelling incense in the nostrils of God.A sacrifice is different from an offering in that a sacrifice must cost you something. It’s not the volume, quantity or volume of sacrifice but the cost. To sacrifice can also mean to surrender or let go……
There are many ways that you can offer a sacrifice
a) by fasting or abstinence (Romans 12:1-2)
b) by giving financially
c) by the shedding of blood. This is used now by the occult for evil practices. Jesus is the atonement for our sins (1 John 2:2) and without the shedding of blood , there is no remission of sins (Hebrews 9:22).
Are you stagnated in life?Has the spirit of Cain prevented you from offering a sacrifice? Pray about giving a sacrifice.
The secret of Job is sacrifice is found in Job 1, Job 29.
Some people who do not pray all the time , have a hedge of protection through their giving. Tremendous power is released through sacrifice.
